Share information from the Riksdag website

To share information on a page:

  • Click the share icon for various social media such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • E-mail the link to the page by clicking the e-mail icon.
  • If you want to share information via other social media or channels, you can copy the link in your browser.

Calendar activities and most information pages can be shared.

Share, embed and download webcasts

You can share an entire or part of a webcast. Below the player you will find a tab with a share function, embed function and a download function. 

Share webcasts

  • Click the Share button. A tab with various alternatives for sharing will appear. You can choose to share the whole webcast or parts of it.
  • If you only want part of the webcast, you can choose the start and end time yourself. Do this by adjusting the control button below the player. Another way is to enter the start and end time directly.
  • You can share the webcast by e-mail and social media such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

At present, the end time does not work when you share part of a webcast.

Embed webcasts on a website

The whole or part of a webcast can also be embedded on a website or in a blog.

  • Click the embed button to embed a webcast on your website or in a blog.
  • The box that opens contains various options. You can embed the whole webcast, a speech or part of the webcast.
  • If you only want to embed part of the webcast, you can choose the start and end time yourself. Do this by adjusting the control button below the player. Another way is to enter the start and end time directly.

At present, the end time does not work when you embed part of a webcast.

Click the Share button and a tab with various alternatives for sharing will appear.

Download webcasts

You can download videos from the Riksdag website.

Click the download button to download the whole webcast on your computer.
You will need a good connection if the file you are downloading is large. Many debates are very long, which means that the video file will require a lot of broadband.
You can download the file for a whole debate. If you only want to download part of a webcast, you need to open the file in a video editing program and select the part of the webcast you wish to use.

Rights for webcasts

The material that is broadcast on the Riksdag website via the webcast service may be freely reused on certain conditions. Further information is available on the page about photo and film rights.
