Broadcasts

The Riksdag has its own TV broadcast service for use by television companies.

All debates and decisions in the Chamber are broadcast on the Riksdag webcast service. The committees' public hearings are also broadcast, as are seminars and other events.

All debates and other events that are broadcast via the Riksdag webcast service, as well as certain other events in the Riksdag premises are produced. This means that broadcasting companies can link up to this service and pick up audio and video streams via the Kaknäs Tower free of charge.

Technology for TV production is available in the Chamber, the former First and Second Chambers, the Skandia Room and the press centre.

The media archive

All sound recordings of debates in the Riksdag dating back to 1966 have been digitally remastered and may be ordered. Audio and video recordings are available from 1991 onwards.
