The opening of the Riksdag session marks the start of the new parliamentary year. The King will open the 2020/21 Riksdag session at the request of the Speaker.
The opening of the Riksdag session will be broadcast live on the Riksdag webcast service from 1 p.m. The opening ceremony will start in the Chamber at 2 p.m. The broadcast will be interpreted into English from 2 p.m.
